  1. I love rats so much. My brother got four after my mum agreed to him getting a pet, but he didn't look after them so i did instead. They had a huge cage in my room that they hardly stayed in, since they preferred to roam my room. They were the sweetest little animals and I adored them to bits, but mum decided we had to get rid of them due to their smell. I still miss them to this day.

    is super salty towards all the hamster love but rat disgust and is happy someone finally agrees with me
    I've had many rats in my childhood, and my first pet was a black furred rat with white paws I named Mittens, she was extremely dear to me ;A;
    Rats are sweet little fuzz droplets of happy

  3. Exactly what I tell people. If people really knew rats, they would not get hamsters. They bite waaaaaay less. My first rat was a girl named Naruto and then I had a boy. I'm looking for my perfect 3rd rat 🙂 amazing, intelligent and lovable pets

  4. Our rat passed away last week from severe intestine tumors, he was only 9 months old. I would never think I would get so much heartbreak after having him for such short time.
    These two look cuddly as hell, but I am surprised, why do they chirp like birds?

  5. Rats as pets are severely under-rated. I'm always conflicted when wild ones become a pest and "measures" have to be taken.
