At night, homeless people have made it their informal shelter in an effort to avoid sleeping on the street. This situation is in stark contrast with the image filmmaker Elizabeth Lo had of Silicon Valley, which is why, in the course of a week, she joined them on the bus line. “Hotel 22” is a poignant Op-Doc video that captures a crude reality of homelessness that may have gone unseen.

While walking around DC enjoying the evening and celebrating the historic inauguration of President Trump my girlfriend and I happened to be at the right place at the right time (we we’re trying to take a picture at the White House) and saw President Trump’s motorcade as it was leaving the area!!
It was a really cool moment for us because we are both big league supporters and it made this night that much more special for us. Go President Trump MAGA!!

The Watch Night service can be traced back to gatherings also known as “Freedom’s Eve.”
At the stroke of midnight, it was January 1, 1863; all slaves in the Confederate States were declared legally free. When the news was received, there were prayers, shouts and songs of joy as many people fell to their knees and thanked God.
